Variable Axis Baseplate, Type-S™

A Variable Axis Baseplate is available to integrate with Type-S Extensions or Overlays to provide a tilting movement with patient fixation in either prone or supine positions. The unique variable axis design allows for natural head and neck movement during patient setup and features a rotating knob to lock the baseplate into an angle position from 0 - 30 degrees in supine position and 12.5 - 32.5 degrees in prone position.

The baseplate accommodates Type-S head-only thermoplastics. It can also accommodate the Posifix Prone Headrest with the use of a MR Posi-S™ Adapter.

(An adapter is needed for using any Posifix type headrest with the Type-S Variable Axis Baseplate)
