The DP-1000 is the most comprehensive “end-to-end” phantom available that evaluates the entire radiotherapy treatment process. The DP-1000 is designed to fully comply with AAPM TG-66 requirements for CT simulators as well as key components of AAPM TG-53 for treatment planning system quality assurance, and TG-142 accelerator QA.
Packed with dozens of features, including a pseudo spinal cord insert bisected by a film plane, and rotating lung rod insert also bisected by a film plane.
The DP-1000 consists of 4 primary modules that are assembled using rods, of a density similar to trabecular bone, around the periphery. Various internal structures and test objects as well as external engravings and fiducials are utilized for integrated testing.
