Wendy Schumer- Proton Therapy Product Guru

Wendy is the Proton Therapy Guru at Gamma Gurus, representing Ion Beam Applications (IBA).   She worked clinically for 20 years in radiation therapy and was one of the first Radiation Therapists in Australia to complete a Master of Applied Science by Research Thesis.

Wendy has worked in clinical research and the medical device industry in Australia for the past 25 years.  She remains excited by advanced technologies that can make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

Her other passions include her three grandchildren, her Australian bulldog, and open-water swimming.
