Colin Christie - Senior Field Service Guru

Colin is located in Melbourne, but busy travelling all over Australian and New Zealand, servicing our valued Gamma Gurus community. Colin has worked as a service engineer within the medical field for 32 years. He started with patient monitoring systems with SLMP, then moving to Acuson Ultrasound. After 6 years Colin was approached by GEHC, based in Brisbane where he was trained in Nuclear Medicine and Cyclotrons. A move to Townsville saw him looking after MRI, NM and CT for North Queensland and the NT for a further 12 years with GEHC. Colin has also worked with Elekta in Townsville, before making the big shift to Melbourne. He now joins our ever-expanding team of service engineers, where he can use all of his acquired knowledge and experience to help us improve the lives of our customers and their patients. When he’s not working, and when its warm (we know, it’s relative 🙂) Colin likes to cycle and sea kayak, having undertaken several trips up to 200kms by himself. We’re lucky to have him!
