CQ Medical is standardising thermoplastic frame designs across Uni-frame and Type-S™ mask product lines to make product selection simpler and more consistent for customers. As part of this change, legacy Qfix blue-framed Uni-frame masks will transition to equivalent legacy Medtec LLC/CIVCO RT white-frame versions. Legacy Qfix Type-S frames will follow in a later phase. Integrated Shim™ style masks are not affected and will remain on the current black frame.
We know how much clinical teams depend on reliable, straightforward access to the products they trust. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to a smoother ordering experience and a clearer, more focused product portfolio.
As part of this project, we will:
• Phase 1 – Uni-frame masks: Begin the standardisation process with Uni-frame thermoplastic masks.
• Phase 2 – Type-S masks: Extend the same standardisation to Type-S thermoplastic masks.
• Frame transition: Move legacy Qfix blue frames to the equivalent legacy Medtec LLC/CIVCO RT white frames. This means legacy Qfix Fibreplast® and Aquaplast RT™ masks will transition to corresponding legacy Medtec LLC/CIVCO RT white-frame versions, with the same trusted performance and quality customers rely on.
• Replacement guidance: Identify and recommend suitable replacement products for any masks affected by this change.
• Not affected: Integrated Shim-style masks remain unchanged on the current black frame.
